A parameter estimation method with improved finite rate of innovation sampling for linear frequency modulation signals

چکیده
To complete the sparse sampling of linear frequency modulation (LFM) signals and estimate parameters, authors proposed an improved finite rate innovation (FRI) system to achieve goal. First build a mathematical model based on Z-transform, then they input LFM signal into modified FRI process output this model, which enables estimation parameters using only four points. The error final experimental results can be controlled within 3%, greatly improves efficiency parameter estimation.

Sampling signals with finite rate of innovation
Consider classes of signals which have a ̄nite number of degrees of freedom per unit of time, and call this number the rate of innovation of a signal. Examples of signals with ̄nite rate of innovation include stream of Diracs (e.g. the Poisson process), non-uniform splines and piecewise polynomials. Eventhough these signals are not bandlimited, we show that they can be sampled uniformly at (or ab...
متن کاملCompressive Sampling of EEG Signals with Finite Rate of Innovation
Analyses of electroencephalographic signals and subsequent diagnoses can only be done effectively on long term recordings that preserve the signals’ morphologies. Currently, electroencephalographic signals are obtained at Nyquist rate or higher, thus introducing redundancies. Existing compression methods remove these redundancies, thereby achieving compression. We propose an alternative compres...
متن کاملSampling signals with finite rate of innovation: the noisy case
In [1] a sampling theorem for a certain class of signals with finite rate of innovation (which includes for example stream of Diracs) has been developed. In essence, such non band-limited signals can be sampled at or above the rate of innovation. In the present paper, we consider the case of such signals when noise is present. Clearly, the finite rate of innovation property is lost, but if the ...
متن کاملA method for generalized sampling and reconstruction of finite-rate-of-innovation signals
We address the problem of generalized sampling and reconstruction of finite-rate-of-innovation signals. Specifically, we consider the problem of sampling streams of Dirac impulses and propose a two-channel method that enables fast, local reconstruction under some suitable conditions. We also specify some acquisition kernels and give the associated reconstruction formulas. It turns out that thes...
متن کاملSampling Signals with Finite Rate of Innovation and Recovery by Maximum Likelihood Estimation
We propose a maximum likelihood estimation approach for the recovery of continuously-defined sparse signals from noisy measurements, in particular periodic sequences of Diracs, derivatives of Diracs and piecewise polynomials. The conventional approach for this problem is based on least-squares (a.k.a. annihilating filter method) and Cadzow denoising. It requires more measurements than the numbe...
